One point maybe a year or so ago Belton talked about some things that he would do. Campaign to make currency before he even finished the acts. I remember it started with running a red beast in act 2 to get a unique and then flipped things up from there but I cannot find that video. Anyone remember the one I'm talking about?

At first I wanted to write that the strategy doesn't work at all. But after 32 maps I got my first memory on Alva for 3 chaos. It's somehow super doubtful that at the start of the league, there will be people who will sell 100 vaults for 2 chaos

Thanks this must have taken a lot of time and energy to make! I feel like it was really needed! Even though I have just over 2k hours played I've never dipped my toes in "advanced crafing" and still feel like a noob 😄. I always shy away from getting into crafing. It just felt like an enormous mountain to climb. To get all the currency/mats needed was a hassle.. I hate trying to find a trade.. Try to find a good guide etc.. Well this league I'm gonna follow a good guide, try to make some currency and I'll maybe try finding a guild/group to play with. I've only played solo so far. I just wanted to say thanks and this was really appreciated. The PoE community needs more people like this.

24:00 I disagree with your point on pricefixing, lets use the example on the screen lets say alts are 5:1 to chaos lets say user A lists 1000 a sell order for alts at 15:1 for sale to "price fix the user B's buy order" lets say user B lists a buy order of alts with chaos at 1:16 (16 because otherwise both would resolve between eachother) because its transparent to the end user and you cant "ignore whispers" in an automated usecase, that fake "15:1 sell" would be quickly scalped by a happy customer and only the "buy" side could be "pricefixed" for a period of time for "high value" currencies, its available only to players that use awakened poe or poe ninja anyway ;)

Dude if you list items, even mirrors, at 1/3 the price it's gonna be sold instantly lol. The room for manipulation is quite low even at more rare currency

all these crashes and delve bugs aren't a very good sign for the upcoming leagues stability, i'll just say that. I get the feeling it's going to either be great, or catastrophic. and maybe it should be.

I dont share your thoughts or conserns for all the "bad" part of this.. I dont see the issue on manipulation. They cannot tank the market in any other way than to actually put the items up for sale. And then it will be bought up, and the prices will go up to the "correct" market price again. That goes both ways. Selling C for Div or Div for C.. So If they put up C for Div at half price, hoping other ppl will put up orders for a fraction cheaper than that to be able to sell, well if the buy pressure issnt high enough to buy up that sell wall they put up, then the market has answered that that lower price is the current market price. Thats how Supply and demand is working in a dynamic market. The reason they can crash the prices now is cause they have the chance to set up orders and refuse to sell it to you. Thus always having market orders for a dirt cheap price, even if the true price is much higher.. This AH will prevent just this shit. You cant fake sell anything. And you talk about three markets (timezones).. Yes it is like this now because you have to be online to sell.. But this will directly fix this since the AH will be offline and 24/7. So the overflow of items in one zone will spill in to the timezone of asia. Evening things out more. But as in stocks or anything else, ofc you can play the market if you want to spend time timing it. But I really think this will be a huge improvement and QoL for us more casual players at least. How it will effect the more dedicated crafters and "pro`s" I dont know. But I warmly welcome it.. Cant wait for it to get everything to the AH. Items and everything. Fudging worst thing with PoE is the trade system by having to whisper ppl and crossing your fingers they are available before having to go down the list to the next seller, and the next, and the next do a trade. Instead of it being on a AH and first come first serve automagically.
